Warranty
New products
New items carry the full manufacturer's warranty for the period set by the brand, typically 12 months, with longer terms on many SSDs, power supplies and monitors. Keep your tax invoice as proof of purchase; it is emailed with your order confirmation.
Refurbished and open-box
Refurbished and open-box stock is tested before it goes on sale and carries ByteBin's own replacement warranty, 6 or 12 months depending on the item, shown on each product page. This sits alongside, and does not replace, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Making a claim
Email support@bytebin.com.au with your order number and a description of the fault. For some brands the fastest resolution is the manufacturer's own support channel, and we will point you to it where that applies.
