About ByteBin
ByteBin is a discount-tech storefront stocked with components, peripherals, displays and networking gear from the brands you already know. Our buying focus is straightforward: source surplus, end-of-line and clearance stock at honest margins, and pass the savings down to the people building, upgrading and maintaining their own machines.
What we stock
The catalog spans the full PC-build stack - CPUs, motherboards, memory, storage, graphics cards, power supplies, cases and cooling - alongside laptops, pre-builts, monitors, peripherals, networking, cables, UPS and software. Prices show RRP, current ticket and the dollar saving so you can sanity-check at a glance.
How discount-tech retail works
Most of what fills these aisles came from one of three sources: vendor end-of-line clear-outs (manufacturer wants the warehouse back), distributor surplus (over-forecast inventory), or open-box / refurbished stock (returned, tested, repackaged). All of these get a clear label on the product page.
Warranty and returns
New products carry the manufacturer's full warranty. Refurbished and open-box items carry ByteBin's own 6-month or 12-month replacement warranty - the term is stated on each listing. Change of mind is welcome within 30 days on unopened stock; faulty goods are handled under Australian Consumer Law regardless of age. Full detail is on our Shipping & Returns page.
Ordering online
The catalog is online around the clock. Stock figures update as sales go through, online and at the counter, so now and then an item sells out between a branch sale and your order - if that happens we will contact you to arrange a refund or a comparable swap. If an item disappears from the catalog, it has usually sold through or moved to a new clearance batch.
